Who was Samson?

Samson was a biblical figure from the Book of Judges known for his incredible strength, which came from his long, uncut hair as a Nazarite. He was chosen by God to be a judge to deliver the Israelites from the Philistines but was also known for his personal weaknesses and failures. His story includes a betrayal by Delilah, who discovered the secret of his strength, leading to his capture and eventual death, where he brought down a temple on himself and his enemies.

Sources estimate that Samson was born between 1045-1000 B.C. and to have died around 1026 B.C.
